What internet speed do you need in Quebec City?
About 10 Mbps per TV for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. In Sainte-Foy, Charlesbourg, Beauport or Limoilou, standard Vidéotron and Bell plans cover one or two TVs comfortably. What matters is the path between the router and the Stick.
In a bungalow with the modem in the basement, Wi-Fi arrives weak in the living room: an Ethernet cable or an access point on the same floor fixes most dropouts. Prefer 5 GHz over the crowded 2.4 GHz band.
24h trial: how it works
One WhatsApp message and 24 hours of access are on, no card needed. Keep your Vidéotron or Bell TV during the test and compare on the same screen, channel by channel, on a weeknight and at the weekend.
It is your own network that matters. If everything holds, we explain the plans (see /prix); if not, the trial ends by itself with no follow-up.

Does a Fire Stick Lite work in Quebec City?
Yes for HD on a decent connection. If you want 4K or your Stick feels slow in menus, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the safer pick.
Do I keep my internet provider in Quebec City?
Yes. Keep your Vidéotron or Bell internet; only the TV box becomes optional. Test first, cancel cable TV later if you are happy.
Is the Quebec City trial really free with no card?
Yes, 24 hours with no credit card. Nothing renews and nothing needs to be cancelled.
What if it buffers in the evening in Quebec City?
Most evening buffering comes from Wi-Fi, not the internet plan. Try Ethernet or 5 GHz first, then message us on WhatsApp with the channel and time.
